Details about the program

The Weekend MBA program (WMBA) is designed for managers who want to achieve success on the EU markets, to gain more experience, and who prefer the weekend form of study.

The WMBA study equips them with theoretical background and practical experience of leading lecturers from two prestigious MBA schools: Maastricht School of Management and CMC Graduate School of Business.

The Weekend MBA program lasts 24 months and takes place in four successive steps:

1. Foundation

The basic step of the program (Foundation) aims to equip students with strong theoretical background in all disciplines that relate primarily to strategic management. This part is only about a fifth of the entire course, and the emphasis here is mainly put on practical education and encouraging students to critical thinking.

2. Core

This is the main part of the program and is composed of executive management disciplines with a focus on global aspects of contemporary business, based on decades of experience of the lecturers of Maastricht School of Management.

3. Specialization

The specialized part of the program is aimed at expert training in international trade.

4. Master Thesis

The whole program is finished by a graduate work (master thesis) the subject of which is a project selected by the student themselves. The graduate work is prepared under the supervision of a coach assigned to each individual participant.
